Deviation Actions
I guess I am working a little backwards. Deviant Art was first referred to me from fellow classmate when attending college for photography classes. I had intention but was only told once early in the day and could never remember it. A few years later I found myself back in college and once again advised to become a member of Deviant Art. This time I wrote it down and if I forgot, I was still in contact with the person that told me. So here I am. I will finally start upload a whole new category of work; "YEARS" worth of it…but trust me. Its a good thing long over due and you all will love it. In fact, you will all love it so much you'll wonder why I waited so long too.

private drawings such as sketches, portraits and various handmade drawings. Due to the fact that it is not possible to hide folders, I decided to use this form of collecting my works

Devious Journal Entry
My awesome new journal skin thanks to DA, Blackberry and the creator, of course, of this great animated journal skin!
I am working hard at practicing my overall sketching while tweaking my own style. In the past, I would do fan art and very little original art or even fully completed character. So I am working on that and the background and/or landscape (environments) for which their character will originate; their story.
In between all that when I taking a break from all those projects, I like to paint watercolor artwork. It comes more naturally for me and I enjoy it a great deal. I also plan on revisiting charcoal and other mediums too. S
Water, water, watercolor!

Hello Everyone! The fall semester is wrapping up so if you have not been to my (gallery) :gallery: later, you have seen my most recent uploads which are all watercolor pieces. They are either watercolor pieces or a photograph with the watercolor included (for one reason or another i.e. the piece and its reference; an actual photograph or still life).
It has been a wonderful journey for me. I learned a lot, made new a friend in a newly found mentor, Jill Poyerd, a professional and well established watercolor artist. You can see for yourself how amazing her work is by visiting her website. http://jpwatercolors.com/# I will continue to
Back at it! I DO LOVE TO DRAW!
Hey everyone!
A new year, new semester and new class. I am taking Drawing II this semester in hopes of homing those sketching skill and do what I love to do most; draw! I have never really been formally taught, there up side and down side to it and it is different for everyone. For me, it gave me a handicap for not knowing how to effectively apply shadows and values to a piece to make it more two dimensional but I am getting better and now I get to practiced even more. I am excited and eager to obtain what taking this course will offer me. I will be uploading some of assignments; some in the features folder and others in the scrapboo
Chibi Fan Art
As promised, here is the info on most, but not all, of my little chibi character pieces. I subscribe to a wonder author and illustrator named, Mark Crilley. He has this one video "20 Ways to Draw Chibi Emotions". I followed along and drew quiet a few of them but all 20 emotions (I felt were repetivive in their expressions) but I still loved watching the video and doing the work.
His work is very inspiring and if you've ever gone through all my work, you find there are other piece base on his work and/or are fan-related type pieces. I am a big fan of his skills, style and work.
If you like to see his video. Here is the link:
